I havent posted any work on this blog for so long so I thought I would upload some images of my current sketchbook! This work is barely finished so don't judge it too much! I was experimenting with different techniques to make a heart motif. From the top left: handprint heart, hand photocopy (yes i did stick my hands in the photocopier) , ink, tissue paper, pencil and my favourite melting crayola crayons! (that was fun!) And the second image, organza and free machining, straight stitch, free machining onto soluble film, free machining with various colours and buttons! This work was inspired by artist Jim Dines and his famous pop art hearts (:
